Green Initiative

Benithem not only produces green products, but also goes the extra mile to influence a greener environment around our company by encouraging people to go green. In order to encourage more green initiatives towards the environment, we put in effort to reserve 1/3 of our land for greenery and provide the additional option of "Benithem plant a tree for me" for our customers to contribute to green efforts even if they do not have the time or space to plant.

Customers who are interested in finding out more can drive past our company in Pekan Nanas to see the trees planted in front of our factory. Do be informed that the trees planted on our grounds cannot be removed or taken back by our customers as it is part of our green area in our company.

To us, there is no reason in creating quality seats while jeopardizing our environment. We believe that by adopting greener initiatives with the highest discipline, we can do our part in ensuring both ecological sustainability and production of high-quality seating solutions for our customer.

Thank you for making Benithem a Green Factory.

Solar Energy System

Benithem is located in a rural area in Pontian called Pekan Nanas. As a socially responsible corporate, we continuously seek for sustainable solutions to create a Green Environment.

In order to reduce the emission of pollution to our environment, we have chosen a greener and cleaner source of energy. Research shows that solar energy has the least negative impact on the environment compared to any other energy sources. It does not produce greenhouse gases and pollute the water.

Utilizing solar energy instead of the grid also reduces carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, we have invested more than RM 1 million into the Green project and within 4 months, we are fully furnished with solar panels.

We firmly believe that our adoption of solar energy will inspire industries to embrace more sustainable energy sources. Since implementing solar power, we have generated 1.5 million kWh of clean energy, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1 million kilograms or planting 25,800 trees between 2020 and August 2024.
